Privacy Policy

This Privacy Policy describes how Melbi Wellness ('Melbi,' 'we,' 'us,' or 'our') collects, uses, and shares information when you visit melbiwellness.com or interact with our pre-launch VIP waitlist. A full HIPAA-aligned notice of privacy practices will be provided at the time of intake when clinical care becomes available.

Scope of this policy

This policy applies to information collected through our public marketing website and the VIP waitlist form. It does not apply to protected health information (PHI), which is governed by a separate Notice of Privacy Practices presented at intake when care becomes available.

Information we collect today

From the VIP waitlist we collect: first name, email address, U.S. state of residence, and the wellness category you indicate interest in. We do not currently collect medical information, dates of birth, government IDs, or payment details. We also collect standard website analytics data such as IP address, browser type, pages viewed, and timestamps.

Information we will collect at launch

When clinical care becomes available, additional information will be collected through a secure online intake, which may include date of birth, health history, current medications, allergies, prior treatments, photos (where applicable), shipping address, and payment information. That information will be governed by a separate Notice of Privacy Practices and applicable federal and state privacy laws.

How we use information

We use the information you provide to (i) send you launch updates and waitlist communications, (ii) respond to your inquiries, (iii) measure marketing performance, (iv) prevent fraud and abuse, and (v) comply with applicable law.

Service providers

We share information with service providers that help us operate the waitlist and website, such as email delivery (Loops.so, Resend), product analytics (PostHog), website hosting, and customer support tools. These providers are contractually limited to using your information to provide services to Melbi.

Marketing emails

By joining the waitlist you consent to receive marketing emails from Melbi. You may unsubscribe at any time using the link in any email or by contacting hello@melbiwellness.com.

Cookies and tracking

We use first-party and third-party cookies, pixels, and similar technologies to analyze site usage and measure marketing performance. You can control cookies through your browser settings. Disabling cookies may limit some site features.

Your rights

Depending on your state, you may have rights to access, correct, delete, or restrict the use of your personal information, and to opt out of certain sales or sharing of personal information for targeted advertising. To exercise these rights, email hello@melbiwellness.com. We will respond within the time required by applicable law.

Children

Melbi is not directed to individuals under 18, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from minors. If you believe a minor has provided us with personal information, contact hello@melbiwellness.com and we will delete it.

Data retention

We retain waitlist information for as long as needed to deliver pre-launch communications and as required by applicable law. You may request deletion at any time.

Security

We use reasonable administrative, technical, and physical safeguards to protect personal information. No system is 100% secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security of information transmitted over the internet.

Changes to this policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. Material changes will be communicated through the site or by email. The 'Last updated' date below reflects the most recent change.

Important disclosures

Informational use only. melbiwellness.com is informational and does not provide medical advice. Visiting this site or joining the VIP waitlist does not create a clinician-patient relationship. Statements have not been evaluated by the U.S. Food and Drug Administration and are not intended to diagnose, treat, cure, or prevent any disease.

Compounded medications. Compounded medications, if prescribed, are not FDA-approved. The FDA does not review compounded medications for safety, effectiveness, or quality before they are marketed. Compounded medications are prepared by a state-licensed compounding pharmacy specifically for the individual patient. Compounded medications are not the same as, are not equivalent to, and are not interchangeable with FDA-approved brand-name medications.

Clinician review required. Treatment is only available when clinically appropriate after an online health intake and review by a licensed healthcare provider. Approval is never guaranteed. Not all patients qualify. A provider may approve, deny, request more information, or require a brief live visit. Refills require continued clinical appropriateness review.

Pharmacy fulfillment. If prescribed, medication is dispensed by a state-licensed pharmacy and shipped directly to the patient. Melbi does not dispense or manufacture medication.

Forward-looking statements. Statements on this site about future services, pricing, programs, and expansion are forward-looking and subject to change based on regulatory approvals, pharmacy availability, clinical appropriateness, and applicable law. Joining the VIP waitlist does not guarantee that any future service or treatment will be offered.

Subscription and cancellation. Future Melbi programs are anticipated to be offered as auto-renewing subscription services. Subscription terms, billing intervals, refund policies, and cancellation procedures will be disclosed at checkout when services launch. Subscriptions may be canceled at any time, subject to the terms disclosed at checkout.

State availability. Melbi services will initially be available in Florida. Availability in additional states will be added over time, subject to applicable state law, licensure, and pharmacy availability.

Individual results. Individual results vary and are not guaranteed. Wellness outcomes depend on a wide range of factors. Product packaging shown on this site is for illustration only and actual product packaging may appear differently than shown.
