No clinician-patient relationship
Visiting this Site or joining the VIP waitlist does not create a clinician-patient relationship between you and Melbi or any clinician affiliated with Melbi. A clinician-patient relationship will only exist after Melbi launches, you complete a secure online intake, and a licensed clinician accepts you as a patient.
Not for emergencies
Melbi does not provide emergency medical services. Do not use this Site if you are experiencing a medical emergency. Call 911 or go to your nearest emergency department immediately.
Statements not FDA evaluated
Statements on this Site about wellness categories and treatments have not been evaluated by the U.S. Food and Drug Administration. Melbi's services and any future treatments are not intended to diagnose, treat, cure, or prevent any disease.
Compounded medications
If a Melbi-affiliated licensed clinician prescribes a compounded medication, that medication is prepared by a state-licensed compounding pharmacy specifically for the individual patient. Compounded medications are NOT FDA-approved. The FDA does not review compounded medications for safety, effectiveness, or quality before they are marketed. Compounded medications carry risks, may not have undergone clinical trials, and may not be appropriate for everyone.
Eligibility not guaranteed
Not all patients qualify for treatment. A licensed clinician may approve, deny, request more information, or require a brief live phone or video visit. Treatment is only available when clinically appropriate.
Individual results
Individual results vary and are not guaranteed. Wellness outcomes depend on a wide range of factors, including individual health status, adherence to a clinician's plan, nutrition, activity, sleep, stress, and other lifestyle factors. Melbi makes no representation that any patient will experience any specific result.
Off-label and compounded use disclosure
Certain compounded medications, if prescribed, may include active pharmaceutical ingredients that are similar to ingredients found in FDA-approved medications. Compounded versions are not the same as, are not equivalent to, and are not interchangeable with FDA-approved brand-name medications. Melbi does not represent compounded medications as generic versions of any branded drug.
Pregnancy and breastfeeding
Many wellness treatments are not appropriate during pregnancy or while breastfeeding. Eligibility is determined on an individual basis after clinical review.
State availability
Melbi services will initially be available in Florida. Availability in additional states will be added over time, subject to applicable state law, licensure, and pharmacy availability.

Consult your primary care provider
Melbi services are not a substitute for primary care or specialist care. We encourage you to maintain a relationship with a primary care provider and to disclose Melbi-related care to other providers involved in your treatment.
